I'm obsessed with my new "Camera Bag" iPhone application (thank you Seth!), and loving the "Instant" filter that makes your snap look like a Polaroid picture. Similarly, I'm coveting these Polaroid-inspired works of art I found on a recent trip to Seattle's Velocity Art & Design.

Ghost camera ($60; 5" x 5" x 4; glazed earthenware) and Polaroid Camera 1 and Polaroid Camera 2 ($28 each; 10" x 13" screen prints) by San Francisco-based Yellow Owl Workshop. Available through Yellow Owl, or through Velocity here.

Camera candle ($30; 5" x 4.5" x 4"; 100% beeswax; burns approx 40 hours) by Seattle-based urbancase and Big Dipper Wax Works. Available through Big Dipper Wax Works, or through Velocity here.

Next: I'm anxious to get my hands on one of these vintage-inspired cameras available at Urban Outfitters.

I'm using Polarize -- it's free -- for the same thing, it's super fun. Results at the link for my name, if you'd like to peek -- I'm curious how they compare w/ the app you like. Also fun? LoFi,free, by the same folks that make Polaraize.
