In these February days where it's raining one moment and shinning rays of sun the next (as I vacillate between the depression of winter clouds and the optimism of spring warmth), I remind myself that I live in California(!) and need to suck it up when I'm complaining about it being 50 degrees (while New York is experiencing a "hurricane-like" snow storm). (Side note: I'm headed here tomorrow, so really, no complaints).

That said, with the official first day of spring still 3 weeks away, this morning feels especially like a change of season: I saw a flood of daffodils at the market this morning, and then found this ode to the flower on design*sponge today. I adore this shot of the different breeds and the whole post by d*s contributors Studio Choo. See all the goodness here.

Love it! I've been seeing the 'Early Cheer' (I think) at a midpeninsula farmers' market for the past couple of Saturdays but never knew which variety narcissus they were.

You've a new convert. I love the labelling style. Feels very symbolic.
