Walton Ford's beautiful book is full of large scale water colors, depicting the animal kingdom like you have never dared imagined it. The ultimate coffee table book, it is sure to inspire (lively) conversation. Consider yourself warned.

Clever girl. Who can resist looking at something when you've been told "Consider yourself warned." There are some scary things in this book. The snake images will give me nightmares. But there is a lot of just plain beautiful stuff, too.

Sheer genius. Had the pleasure of hearing him speak about his work at the Provincetown Art Association this summer, truly unforgettable.

I first saw Walton Ford's work in a Vogue magazine spread in the early 1990s, and fell in love instantly.
I've never had the chance to see his work -- for real -- but plan to do so whn next in NY City.

Walton Ford IS my favorite living American painter.
