The fast approach of September always has me itching for a new outfit and backpack supplies even though kiddo-hood is long a distant memory.
However, there are certain things that translate to adults: A motivation to clean up the office, a resolution to get to work on time, and a reminder to find that reusable lunch bag if it seems to have gone missing.

A little shout-out: In the mid-1980s my mother launch a little company
called "The Lunch Bag Project" for which she and a couple
early-anti-brown-bag-activist friends produced washable canvas
lunch bags and distributed them through elementary schools in the bay
area. Though at the time I'm sure I didn't appropriately recognize her entrepreneurial efforts to support mother nature, I now I credit her for my early interest in the environment.
