Although it could be said (truthfully) that I have a few too many bags, it doesn't seem to stop me from looking for the next best bag. When I saw the ones available from Proud Mary, I knew that once again I would be adding to my collection, but this time with a totally clear conscience.

Proud Mary is the socially responsible brain child of two friends, Molly & Harper. Working with Guatemalan artisans through Nest (a very cool company that provides micro loans to women in developing countries) Molly & Harper have produced a line of bags & pillows that has a look they describe as 'ethnic modern'. Call it what you want. The outcome is worth coveting.

Each collection they offer (Diamonte, Raya & El Sol) is produced by a different set of weavers and each has a distinct look. I like all three so if you are deciding which one to send my way, don't even worry. They will all work for me.
