I spent the long weekend in the dry heat that is Palm Springs. Aside from my camera-happy awe at the dessert plants (more on this in a future post) and lounging pool-side in a mid-century modern bungalow with 10 fabulous girlfriends (not likely much more on this in a future post), a highlight of the glorious 3-day weekend was stumbling upon the Trina Turk Residential Boutique while in search of iced coffee. I've heard associate editor Jennie Nunn mention Turk's style before, but I'd never seen her goods in person.

Wow. The colors. The patterns. To me, it all embodied my preconceived notions of the resort town: bright, bold pool-side luxury. I wanted to move in.

Like a true tourist (large camera around neck—and SPF 55 in purse), I snapped some pics.
For info, visit the Trina Turk website here.

For someone who likes white, cream, and ivory... I adore all those colors in the shop!

Pairing books with gift ideas and art - simply fabulous. I would also want to snap pictures of these gorgeous displays.

Palm Springs is perfect for a girls weekend and a trip to TT too! Fabulous. Great photos. I must check out the store next time I'm there.
